Amazing shoes, second pair would recommend highly
First mountain biking shoe. Very comfortable. Love them. Highly recommend.
Just got these yesterday (off-white). Mounted and aligned the cleats last night, and to test them out I've been wearing them all day today as just my general shoes. They don't have much at all in the way of arch support, or contour, but that's to be expected. Sizing is perfect - I'm a size 8 to 8.5 Men's, and roughly 41EU - put these on and they fit like a glove. Takes a little bit of lace adjusting to get rid of the 'hot spots' on top of your foot. That is, however, also very much to be expected.
My main praise is with the looks of them. It's awesome to have a shoe that looks just as comfortable clipped into a gravel bike as one that can be worn around casually in a cafe. I have an MTB too, which these will be perfect for. Overall, the look of them is nearly unmatched in terms of versatility. Comfort is very decent for a bike shoe. Walkability is a 7/10 or 8/10 (they're stiff, and the cleats still squawk).
So far, I'm very very pleased with this purchase, the quality, the fit, and the look. We'll see how they hold up over time. Can write another review or update this one at that time if they are doing well.
I bought these based on a review on the Radavist. The shoes themselves seem fine. Very tight but true to size. My gripe is that they came with a sticker over the cleat mounting plate stating that if you use Time or Crank Brothers pedals you will need to install the cleats with a "shim" or your warranty will be void. No shim nor any information as to where one could be obtained was provided. As a 25 year user of Time pedals, I went ahead and installed some cleats anyway. I am finding it VERY difficult to get clipped in. I guess the cleat pocket in the bottom of the shoe is too narrow for the retention bars on Time and Crank Bros pedals. If you're an SPD person who doesn't like bike shoes that look like they're from outer space, go ahead. If you use Time or Crank Bros pedals look elsewhere.
