Men’s Tallac Clip BOA® '24

Great show for me. My boa lace wore out on each shoe after about two years. I just re threaded it and tied it back to itself. Great clip shoe. Slips on fast and keeps my feet dry. Still have my old ones for back up **** kickers.
Size 13. The 12.5 I originally had fit true to 12.5 and the 13 is better.

As the title said, best MtB shoes. Comfortable, durable, you feel like an extension of your bike. Paired with Hope Tech Union TC clip. Amazing setup! Fits true like my specialized shoes,

Love the BOA closure which I have never used before. Have flat pedal Tallac’s which are 5 star ⭐️ but these clueless Tallac’s are tight in the toe box and causing bruising. Otherwise these are perfect!

Rc wouldn't stop bothering me to review...I bought the new version and hated how it pinched down on the top of my foot so I returned them for the 2024...such a better shoe!

I was stoked to get these shoes, even if the beige was a bit more olive in person.

The size 12 fit great, and the right shoe BOA laced them up fast and snug.

However, the left shoe’s BOA system would not ratchet up at all. It seems like it was defective straight away, brand new out of the box!

This is not a dig on RC as BOA isn’t their technology, but one they integrate into their product. I can now say for certain that in my experience with BOA, from all my sporting equipment, that it has been less than satisfactory. They come loose, they break, they stop working? Not worth the hassle of having a fast lacing system if the things are spending weeks away getting repaired.

Just going to stick to laces from now on, seems like the safer bet.

I will also mention that RC warranty/returns team was very responsive, helpful, and apologetic, which I greatly appreciated.
