Product Performance

Different terrain and riding styles can benefit from specific shoe features. Grip, protection, weight, and breathability are all factors that can affect your on-bike experience.

Level 5 Flex, found only on our Clipless offerings, is very stiff—designed for ultimate power transfer and support for hard charging riders. The stiff platform reduces foot-fatigue and offers stability for big miles and rough terrain.

Our medium volume last can accommodate a vast range of foot shapes, but an average volume foot will be most comfortable. Larger feet will be comfortable sizing a half-size up.
These shoes are really well built, comfy and the BOA closure is awesome. They fit true to measurements provided on the website. Lots of cleat clearance so don't need to cut any tread away on the bottom. My only gripe (and its a big one) is that they have a 4 hole cleat nut pre-installed and the inside of the shoe under the insole is not removable. You cannot adjust angle of the cleat, only fore-aft and side to side. When clipped in I am bumping up against the maximum float of the pedal (Shimano XT trail) and there is no way to adjust it due to the shoe design. Should have a 2 hole cleat nut with the ability to rotate the cleat 5 degrees in each direction at least. Not sure if these will work long term or if I will get knee pain from it. Time will tell but a major oversight on the shoe design side of things. If the inner part of the shoe was removable I could take the cleat nut out and modify it, but they took away that option too. When I emailed customer service they said "might have to take them to a cobbler".
Most comfortable and supportive riding shoes I've ever had. The mid-top design give that added feeling of support around the ankle. The solid sole means I don't get tired arches so I can ride for hours without feeling complainy! And the Boa means no faffing about with laces or stypid ratchet straps.
I like how they protect my feet and how confortable they are.
Great supportive shoes! Felt comfortable from the off and appear to be very robust. Service from RC was brilliant too.
