Product Performance

Different terrain and riding styles can benefit from specific shoe features. Grip, protection, weight, and breathability are all factors that can affect your on-bike experience.

Level 4 Flex provides a strong power transfer to the pedal, support for long descents, and enough compliance for a secure pedal connection while offering a small amount of trail feedback.

Our medium volume last can accommodate a vast range of foot shapes, but an average volume foot will be most comfortable. Larger feet will be comfortable sizing a half-size up.
The shoes look nice, have a good grip, however are very tight - which causes numbness in both feet. Maybe when I've broken in the shoes they will feel better. Right now they feel like walking while my feet are being binded.
Switched from 5.10 which have always been what I thought to have been the standard. Everyone has caught up and or exceeded the expectations of a great flat mtb shoe. Comfortable and true to size the only thing I’d say is wear thin sock in the summer it’ll help keep cooler on long rides.
Very comfortable and grippy
I needed some shoes for my flat pedal gravel bike. So I bought Tallac 24s. The first shoes I purchased, I purchased the size that I normally wear. They’re a little bit too tight. So I returned them, and bought a size a half size bigger. They fit perfectly.
I’ve ridden about four century rides in them plus other shorter rides and they are great. My feet don’t fatigue and there’s a solid grip on my petals.
This will be my 3rd set of Ride Concepts throughout the years. I've had the Livewire, and the Hellions. Every year the build quality seems to get better and better and it's hard to wear these things out. The uppers are bomb proof and the grippy soles hang on to the pedals and last a long time. One thing Id change is to make the shoes breathe better, as they run a little hot. I haven't had the Tallacs but a couple weeks but so far, I'm liking them. They seem to breathe better than my older models I've tried. Can't go wrong with Ride Concepts, and plus if you do have an Issue their Customer Service is great!!!!
